Good sleep and a long weekend made this an easy run with the stroller.

I had to make a pit stop at lindon park.  Wow, I don't think I have ever had to go so badly before.  Running really tightens up your core.

I had to get back home to get some things done for work.  I work on the stock market and needed to watch the open this morning. So I didn't get the run in I was hoping for.

This was a good race.  I was really glad to meet everyone and put lots of faces to names. I swear that Kim knows EVERYONE.

Harrumph... the results were posted and my name isn't even in there.  Some sort of error because once again I was dumb.  This time instead of switching my wife numbers I put my bib on backwards so the number wasn't showing.  I was pretty sure that got corrected at the finish line but I guess it wasn't.  I imagine I didn't even have a chance at winning something at the raffle =).

 As for the race description itself.  Ran pretty much the whole thing with Kim.  She had thought she was going to run a slower race.  We started chatting and I guess the conversation was interesting enough that she decided to can the pacing and she stayed with me. The good news is I am pretty sure we negative splitted.  Which I am way excited about. I also learned that Chocolate gus are much better than berry flavors for me.  I am also confident I am going to beat my 4:00 st george goal. This was a good primer race... I liked hobble creek because it gave me an idea of the pounding I will get from all the downhill at st george.  I like this race because its smaller and has some hill in the middle.

Big hoorah for the Spanish Fork Running Club for putting on a good event.  There was plenty of fruit at the end.  For next year though... don't forget to have gu at the ready!

Got a couple of miles out and got a text message saying servers were down.  A few minutes later got some texts saying everything was normal again. Started heading back home just to check and met up with my folks out walking the dog. Took the dog on another few mile jaunt and then back to my folks to chat.  Apparently my Dad's old co-worker Age 65 just finished the wasatch 100 in under 35 hours.  Which isn't an amazing time, but for a 65 year old ... WOW!

So far 7, may try another 4-5 tonight because I need to get in 10 today... with the rest inbetween I figure 4-5 would make up for me running out of time this morning.

Edit::

 Though silly I might as well record it... I didn't do a double session.  I ended up with some montezuma's revenge.  I am recording it because I would like to see if there is a cycle here.  Maybe I am carrying some sort of periodic bug or something.  Happened last wednesday night as well. I ate jumbalaya at mcGraths and had some sprouts and chicken noodle soup with some sliced cheese when I got home.

no sleep.  Bad news though.  My wife is feeling pain in her knee and bowed out at about mile 13.  She is able to walk without much trouble but her knee was bothering her pretty bad.  I could use a good recommendation for a doctor.  From what she is describing I am voting it-band.

 I finished up the run alone and it went well for me.  I felt like I had the next 6 in me for sure.  I am likely to be sore after the marathon though.  I am not sore now.

Easy miles in the 8 min range.  Felt good... possibly too good I might should have gone running yesterday.

Probably a bit shorter than 12.  Canal and street.  Picked up a movie to watch on the way home.  Wife had some tightness behind her trouble knee.  But with a little stretching we finished without incident. She is still really worried about the marathon though.

Felt like I was running pretty fast, I was content with the workout.  Mornings are starting to get colder which isn't good.  But the good news is that I truly love the fall.  The smells and the weather have been great.  Fall is truly my favorite season.  Must be why I got married in the fall.

lots of hill sounded like fun... so I went out and did some.  This was a good run.  My fitness level has improved this year... but I feel like there is a lot more left in there.  And there better be if I ever want to qualify for boston.

this was split up into two runs... one in the afternoon and one in the evening with a break to watch the kids inbetween.  I hope that double short sessions of 4-5 miles counts in getting in a long run.  It didn't feel to hard so I pushed it a bit in some places.
